About the teacher

Anika Grimm is a 1000 hour qualified yoga instructor, who has been teaching for 14 years. She completed the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) diploma with Dave Charlton, and the Association of yoga studies (AYS) diploma for yoga therapy with Dave Charlton and Ranju Roy.

The classes and 1-1’s offered are deeply rooted in the viniyoga approach and in the idea that the practice of yoga, should be suitable to the individual, applying yoga to the needs of each person. This may not always mean working with postures, but could be a variety of practices (from simple relaxation to breathing exercises and visualisation etc). This is also reflected in the workshops and holidays offered.

Anika is a qualified pregnancy yoga teacher, having trained with Beautiful Birth and beyond, instructed by Gail Reeves.

As well as having a passion for yoga, Anika offers Thai yoga massage treatments. 1-1’s, yoga therapy and private group sessions can be arranged. Workshops and yoga teacher training offered throughout the year. Yoga holidays in France, Spain and further afield.

Anika lives in Brighton with her two teenage boys. She enjoys walks on the nearby Downs, and swims in the sea (on warm days). She hopes to become a keen gardener some day soon, and to grow her own fruit and vegetables.
